CV Summary: 

Upasna’s research interests lie at the intersection of two domains – adaptation to climate change and disaster risk reduction and management policy. Her research focuses on questions related to assessment of impacts of natural hazards, public-response to hazard early warning systems, measuring vulnerability, relationship between development and generic adaptive capacity, adaptation financing under UNFCCC, science policy interactions and effect of governance and institutional features on risk management systems.
