The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS), IIT Delhi will be organizing a Panel Discussion on the theme 'How to Build Lasting Peace between India and Pakistan' on 25 March 2015. The discussion will feature a visiting team from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) comprising approximately 56 students and faculty members. Professor Ishtiaq Ahmed, Professor Emeritus in Political Science at Stockholm University and a visiting professor at LUMS will be leading this team.
The panel discussion will provide an opportunity to students and faculty members in our Institute to hear from and talk to Prof. Ishtiaq Ahmed and the visiting students from LUMS.

Visiting Professor, LUMS, Pakistan; Professor Emeritus of Political Science, Stockholm University; and Honorary Senior Fellow, Institute of South Asian Studies, National University of Singapore. His book, The Punjab Bloodied, Partitioned and Cleansed, *(Karachi: Oxford University Press, 2012), won the Best Non-Fiction Book Prize at the 2013 Karachi Literature Festival and the 2013 UBL-Jang Groups Best Non-Fiction Book Prize at Lahore.
