Digital Humanities Winter School 2026

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, invites applications for the second edition of the Digital Humanities Winter School (DHWS).
This edition focuses on spatial and network approaches - mapping, connecting, and visualizing humanities data to uncover relationships across places, people, and texts.
Participants will receive hands-on training in digital mapping and network analysis as well as explore hashtag#artificialintelligence and hashtag#machinelearning approaches to hashtag#digitalhumanities.
No prior technical background is required.
The Winter School is designed for students, researchers, and early-career faculty in the humanities and social sciences who wish to explore computational and data-driven methods for their own research.
The faculty for conducting the Winter School are: David Joseph Wrisley (NYU Abu Dhabi), Arjun Ghosh (IIT Delhi), Sudeep Narayan Banerjee (IIT Delhi), Rajarshi DASGUPTA (IIT Delhi), Vinayak Das Gupta (Shiv Nadar University).
