The written test for the 5 additional seats (and any program vacancies) for the M.Sc. Economics programme at IIT Delhi will be held on Sunday, 8 June 2025, at Lecture Hall Complex (LHC), IIT Delhi. The exam shall be of a three-hour duration and shall begin at 10 am.
Please report for the same at 9 am (IST) on 8 June 2025 at the reception of the Lecture Hall Complex (LHC). No applicant will be allowed to enter the exam hall after 10 am.
Please carry a valid government identity card (original physical copy) for verification.
An email with a call letter and the details of the M.Sc. Economics programme Admission Test has been sent to all shortlisted candidates. Detailed instructions to download the admit card is mentioned in the call letter.
Physically challenged (Pwd) candidates are requested to contact the office of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences by 20 May 2025 if they wish to utilise a scribe (economics@hss.iitd.ac.in, 011-26591371).
The following are the shortlisting criteria for admission to the M.Sc. Economics programme for Semester 1 2025-26:
*A 3 or 4-year undergraduate degree in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.Tech. /B.E./ B.Stat./ B.Math. or equivalent
*Minimum qualifications: CGPA of 5.5 for General/OBC/EWS (5.0 for SC/ST/PwD) on a 10-point scale or equivalent or 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/ PwD) in aggregate without rounding-off
The list of shortlisted applications is given in the attached notice. Please write to economics@hss.iitd.ac.in if your name appears on the list but you have not received your call letter through email. Please mention the application number in all correspondence.
