Ms. Vaishali Mutreja, Research Assistant, presented a paper titled, "How does learning of mindfulness (posture and breath focus) alter cognitive task learning?". Vaishali presented work from a two-year long, interdisciplinary research project where cognitive and affective changes taking place in first-time learners of mindfulness were tracked. These results help us understand how the learning of mindfulness practice might translate into cognitive benefits over a period of time.
